The Best Chapter Came After
One year ago yesterday, we finished one of the biggest moves of our lives. We packed. We hauled. We sweated. We swore enough to make a sailor uncomfortable. And with the help of some absolutely wonderful people, nine friends, five trucks, five trailers, five hours, we got every last bit of ourselves and our lives home.
To everyone who showed up with trucks, trailers, muscle, patience, moral support, or just a well timed "keep going, you're almost done": THANK YOU. A year later it still means everything.
Twelve months on, the only thing we miss is absolutely nothing.
We're a day late posting this because, honestly, we were busy living the life we moved into. The bar is pouring, the kitchen smells like baking, the music still plays on weekends, and the people we love keep walking through the door.
Some chapters just end. The good part is what you build after. Happy anniversary to freedom, peace, and home. 🥂
